When the Maibock hits the seasonal tap, spring is just around the corner! Once a year, we brew this light bock beer, which deliciously bridges the gap between winter and spring. Malty flavours and a higher alcohol content provide a cosy warmth from within. At the same time, the Perle and Saphir hops give the Maibock a fresh start and slightly floral notes. Cheers!

This authentic Berlin sour ale speciality was served throughout the city in its heyday and is said to have been admiringly described by Napoleon’s troops as the ‘sparkling wine of the North’. We’re giving Berlin back its original – brewed traditionally and naturally sour!

Wood-aged beers – their production requires craftsmanship, a lot of experience, patience and a bit of intuition. Beers from our “132 Barrel Aged Series” mature in new or differently pre-aged barrique barrels, e.g. whiskey, cognac, tequila or rum. This allows them to develop a unique, beguilingly intense aroma.

We get the coffee blends for our speciality coffees from the ‘19grams’ roastery in Berlin. Founded in 2002, the team has been working with coffee farmers from all over the world ever since and roasts the green coffee in its own roastery. Incidentally, ‘19grams’ is the amount of coffee used for a double espresso.

Our “flagship store” at Hackescher Markt. The history of our craft brewery began in the atmospheric S-Bahn arches in 1999. We still brew our beer just a few meters from LEMKE today. You can expect a relaxed atmosphere, a quiet green beer garden in the courtyard, homemade German cuisine and of course: our beer!
