23.07.2024 \/ The Biermeisterei presents its new summer beer on tap: AGATA! This modern interpretation of Gose, tapped on tap at the Biermeisterei, brings a breath of fresh air to our beer menu. AGATA combines one of Germany’s oldest beer styles with exciting new flavours – a perfect summer beer for hot days. <\/p>\n
Even the smell of Agata puts you in a summer mood: notes of lemon peel and grapefruit rise up and arouse anticipation for the first sip. And it doesn’t disappoint: a fresh, lime-influenced flavour, supported by a fine tequila note, unfolds in the mouth and provides an incomparable experience. The slightly salty flavour and gentle acidity round off the profile perfectly. <\/p>\n
Our brewer Lilli has created AGATA with great attention to detail. The basic recipe is a classic Gose. This beer style originally comes from the area around Goslar, as the name suggests. The water sources there have always been slightly salty, so even the traditional Gose has a surprisingly salty taste. Brewer Lilli has taken up the theme of salt and developed it further: Real tequila and lime juice harmonize perfectly and give the traditional style a whole new twist. A total of 56 liters of Mexican golden tequila were used in the storage and maturation process. This special addition gives AGATA its characteristic taste, reminiscent of a refreshing cocktail – ideal for hot days and convivial evenings. The margarita in beer form! <\/p>\n
AGATA goes perfectly with light summer dishes and snacks. Whether grilled vegetables, a fresh salad or simply as a refreshing accompaniment in the beer garden – AGATA is always the right choice. With an alcohol content of just 4% and a fruity taste without bitter notes, this beer is light yet full of flavor. Makes you want more! <\/p>\n
